TOOLS MANAGEMENT

Over the years, we have always been great at discerning the requirements of customers that operate in maintenance and after-sales assistance, whose needs are often overlooked by service providers.

Proper management of tools and equipment that are useful in field maintenance activities is undoubtedly a primary factor for our customers.

In addition to normal activities for stock management, preparation, and distribution (both at night and directly on site), we also offer support with a proprietary WEB portal that allows customers to oversee each activity, monitor flows, and view of tool and equipment stocks and their maintenance status in real-time.

This means they can book and reserve tools weeks in advance, allowing the entire service department to view the bookings, and also monitor each shipment and track/trace individual tool users.
Each feature has been developed with the sole purpose of providing visibility and simplifying what are normally extremely complex processes involving, most of the time, a large number of people and departments.

PERIODIC TOOL CHECKS

Making sure that tools that have been used are returned and are in good working order is vital so that our customers can work in compliance with strict quality and efficiency standards.

Tools such as digital multimeters, torque wrenches, and measuring and pressure gauges require constant regular testing and checks to keep them perfectly efficient and guarantee customers are aligned with quality certification requirements.

These checks can be extended to any equipment or device used by field maintenance technicians, such as fire extinguishers, ropes, and harnesses.

BACKUP FROM OUR METROLOGY LABORATORY

To guarantee our customers all this, we have created a metrology laboratory that can conduct regular checks on the tools and instruments used by field maintenance technicians.

Employing highly specialist personnel and certified equipment, we are able to offer an on-demand calibration and operation service for tools and instruments.

Notified by a computerised schedule, we pick up the equipment to be checked, taking it directly from the field maintenance technicians’ vans at night, and then send it to our central hub.

At the hub, we oversee every activity, from the provision of back-up equipment to the preparation of work reports, which are viewable by our customers at any time, in the event of inspections or if any other needs arise.
